Financing with Apple Card with a different carrier

I have mint mobile and I want to finance my iPhone with my Apple Card. Why keep asking me to activate with Verizon, AT&T, boost or t-mobile? Why I can’t use my regular service as iam buying through Apple?

Unknown. Apple has not made any info public regarding the requirements to choose a carrier for the Apple Card Monthly Installments

With that said, you can select a carrier as requested and once you have the iPhone in hand, bypass the activation with the chose carrier. T-Mobile appears to be the easiest one to do this with, at least in the past it has been.

If you can borrow a T-Mobile phone line from a friend or relative you can select T-Mobile and then activate the iPhone with your own carrier. This will not affect the phone line or device you borrow it from for the purchase process.

I try to put Verizon as is my husband carrier but it does ask for a pin also t mobile so I am afraid to move fwd and give their line a problem. That’s defeat the entire purpose of doing an Apple Card as you get limited to these carriers which I could finance straight from them. That’s sucks. I guess I will have to wait until I get money to buy in cash :(
