why does my apple music start and then stop using air pods4. I have tried syncing. It does not matter if I am on WIFI or cellular. My connection seems ok. Coffee house, Public library, or at home.
Please help!

See what to do: If the sound from your wireless headphones cuts out or is distorted - Apple Support
Is the firmware on the AirpPods up-to-date ? (Connected devices need up-to-date software as well)

If needed: Tip: Leave AirPods connected to power overnight with the iPhone connected to wi-fi close by, so they can update automatically

May be any one of various reasons: Thank you for sharing what you've tried.
Eg: AirPods stop when you remove them, right ? .... what if they are not always remaining fitted securely
