iPhone 17 Pro Max not ringing for incoming calls
neither of our iphone 17 pro max ring when receiving incoming calls have checked silent mode so that’s not the problem

In Settings > Sounds & Haptics - you have a ringtone selected for phone calls? If yes and neither phone rings and you're likely both using the same carrier, I'd contact the carrier and see if they have turned off rings on your phones.
