Nike Run App pausing during run

I have been having issues with my watch (10 series) when using the Nike Run app. I start a run, and after every 1/4 mile, the watch defaults to my home screen and pauses my run. It resumes when I return to the app, but I'm not accurately able to track my miles and don't like having to constantly look at my watch. I've done troubleshooting with Apple and had it sent off to be reset. It's been working for a few months, but it's happening again. Any ideas? I've only had this issue with the Series 10.
