Hallmark Studio V23 - not working so good! I upgraded 11/2025

Hallmark Studio Greeting program V23 for Tahoe and Sequoia - I am finding this update to be not be so friendly! The envelope option prints with a red border...I find no where to adjust this....like NO border on the envelope! Adding text is also difficult... The last page cannot be changed......it has the Hallmark info on it....I like to personalize my last page for the card/person I making it for......you cannot add anything to it! Other than the fact it does work with Sequoia (and now Tahoe - since I just updated)... I also am having trouble with "Arrange"...can't figure out WHAT makes it available - when I am on a graphic the option is greyed out.... Not liking this..... I have used the program for as long as I have had a Mac...(and on Windows before the Mac.). Anyone have any suggestions on getting this to work better - other than Hallmark caring about us Mac users?

I have also uninstalled / reinstalled. Printing seems to be ok. Adding text also stinks. Copy/paste doesn’t work either. Neither does Arrange unless you select ‘all’. Really a lousy update.

Since the Hallmark software seems to break with almost every minor macOS update, I would say Hallmark doesn't really care. It sounds like a poorly written app to begin with. For the past three years I continually see new posts about this app not working.

Users can provide product feedback to the Hallmark app developers and also provide product reviews & ratings to reflect your experience. And people can just not purchase their app. Either they will realize something is wrong and want to fix things so their app is relevant again, or they will just drop the app completely. Either way, problem solved and the developer's intentions are then clearly known.

I downloaded V23 and found it to be awful. Uninstalled it, then reinstalled an it seems to be working better, although I also dislike the inability to remove the Hallmark info on the back page as we could in the previous version. Printing can also be tricky. As there are few options out there for Mac users, I’ll keep working with it, but not terribly happy with it.

My biggest issue has to do with adding text. Every time I make a change the text area expands beyond the text area. I have to minimize it to bring it back into usable form. I'll then make a change and it expands again and the change has not taken place. It takes it in an ordinate amount of time to add text and make modifications. I have sent videos to technical support and so far I've not seen any changes. Previous version of this software, you could add a text field, it would be a large box, you'd add text make the change and Preto you would be done. I've asked them if they could go back to that option instead of what's currently available, but have not received any reply. I did complain about the fact that the AI option disappeared and now it is back and usable.
