GIFs displaying as 'tmp.gif' with a blank box
why are my gifs disappearing and just showing a blank box that says tmp.gif? This is super frustrating. I can’t be the only one.

Force Messages to rebuild the image cache
- Go to Settings → Messages
- Turn iMessage OFF
- Restart your iPhone
- Turn iMessage ON
This forces Messages to rebuild all message attachments.
