How to resolve iPhone 13 software update glitch and unlock the phone?

I have iPhone 13 . Tried to update software last night , Now I got the phone locked in to a screen prompting to update via MacBook . I spent a lot of time to do the task . Connecting the phone to Mac , starting to update the task can't be completed and get all sort of error messages . I updated soft ware on Mac too , but can't update or in fact unlock my phone ! that is terrible to be honest !!! Even choosing to restore factory setting isn't working .

These updates 'glitches' must be the Achilles tendon of apple . I have bad experience with iPhone 4 and did not purchase any other until iPhone 13 . Very unlikely I will ever come near apple or recommend it at all .

The mount of lost time and 'inconvenience ' is obvious ! Am sure I am not the only one going through this sugar !
