Declined Calendar Invites Keep Showing Up?

I have a Microsoft 365 account from my job linked to my iCal. On my Macbook Air (Sequoia 15.6), when I decline a calendar invite from that 365 account, it still shows up on my calendar anyway, even though I've indicated in the settings (both in iCal and in 365) that I don't want it to show declined items. My organization sends out blanket invites, which means that currently, every single calendar item for everyone in my whole organization is showing up on my iCal and I can't remove the things I don't need-- it's so saturated that it's unusable. How can I get it to stop showing declined events? It won't even hide them in my view.

That's what I'm saying the issue is; I have been telling the server not to save things I decline, but it is doing so anyway. The things I'm declining do not show up in Microsoft, but they still show up in the calendar on my Macbook. They do not show up on my phone calendar, but they do on my computer. Microsoft support has told me this is an issue on Apple's end.

This is happening to me, too. I have the "show declined events" option UNCHECKED, and they just keep popping up. They aren't visible in Outlook or on my phone, only on my Mac. The only "solution" I've found is to delete and re-add my Exchange account, forcing a rebuild. That's not really a solution, because within a few weeks it stops syncing again, and I really don't want to have to completely unload, reload, and rebuild my calendar every few weeks, because it just stops working. Please, someone, tell me there is an actual solution to this glitch and I don't have to start using the Outlook app!
