The iPhone itself does not restrict access to third-party apps unless specific permissions or conditions are unmet. However, if a third-party app blocks a device due to violations such as improper usage or bypassing community guidelines, that restriction is imposed by the app developers, not Apple. Apple has no control over decisions made by third-party apps regarding account or device bans.

Any social networking app typically bans devices or users for violating its community guidelines or terms of service. Some common reasons for bans may include:

  1. Creating multiple accounts on the same device for a social media platform can lead to the device being flagged or banned.Creating multiple account from the same device.
  2. If one account is banned, creating additional accounts from the same device may be seen as an attempt to circumvent the ban, leading to further restrictions or a device-level ban.
  3. Social media platforms monitor activity patterns to prevent abuse, spam, and violations of community guidelines. Multiple accounts originating from the same device can trigger automated systems as suspicious behavior, particularly if the accounts engage in spamming, bot-like behavior, or policy violations.
  4. Sharing explicit or inappropriate content, nudity, violence, or hate speech can lead to a ban.
  5. Platforms track IP addresses and use device fingerprinting techniques to identify and monitor devices. Creating and switching between multiple accounts from a single device can raise red flags.
  6. Engaging in spamming activities, sending unsolicited messages, or using third-party apps to automate actions on the app can result in a ban.
  7. Creating fake accounts, impersonating others, or using someone else's identity without permission violates their policies.
  8. Sharing or promoting illegal activities, including drug sales, harassment, or threats, can lead to a ban.
  9. Harassing, bullying, or intimidating other users can result in severe consequences, including a ban.
  10. Any breach of app's terms of service or community guidelines can lead to device or account bans.

A few social networking apps have automated systems and human moderators that detect and take action against accounts or devices that violate these policies. Depending on the severity of the violation, the ban can range from temporary suspension to permanent removal of the account or device from the platform.
