How do I activate iMessage and FaceTime using an iCloud email address?

To use your Apple Account mail address in iMessage, make sure, that in Settings/Messages/iMessage/Send & Receive, your mail address is selected.


If the general troubleshooting does not work, you should contract the official Apple Support and ask them to look into your settings from their side.

If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime on your iPhone - Apple Support
