I used to be able to send myself an email I wrote, then use the writing tools to make it a professional version and then share that back to my outlook email. Now when I do this, once I tap in the "To:" area of the new message, the entire re-written email and message box goes away. Why?
Apple Mail now uses a temporary writing-tools preview layer.
Tapping the To: field cancels that layer → rewritten email disappears.
Always tap Insert/Replace after rewriting before touching address fields.
Best workflow: Fill out To and Subject before using Writing Tools.
