Severely slow (lagging) bookmarks scrolling using iOS 26.1 on an iPad Pro

Anyone else using and iPad and iOS 26.1 experiencing a severe lag with scrolling through the bookmarks in Safari? Closing and restarting the app fixes the problem, but I can’t see doing that every time this happens. Mind you it’s intermittent, but it has happened several times since I installed the new iOS yesterday. The scrolling issue doesn’t affect my iPhone, but that’s probably due to the bookmarks taking up the full screen.

I’m using an iPad Pro (Gen3) and no other applications are loaded and Safari is running in full screen mode.
