Logic Pro triggers random MIDI notes from digital piano

when i open logic pro my midi (digital piano) plays random phantom notes. When i hit keys on my computer keyboard the piano hits differnt random notes. same for when i click mouse. also happens when I plug midi in after opening Logic Pro. I've tried resetting midi, I've tried resetting my digital piano. But it doesn't happen in GarageBand so I suspect it is something going on in Logic Pro. Please help.

Mac Studio, macOS 14.6

You could try:

Logic Pro > Control Surfaces > Bypass All Surfaces

Logic Pro > Control Surfaces > rebuild defaults

You could download a little tool, that inspects the entire midi communication on your computer:

https://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/

You could provide more information about your setup: What Piano? how did you connect your piano to Logic/Computer? Are you using other midi controller that might send faulty midi notes?
