iPhone 17 Pro camera defaulting to video issue (not camera setting - already fixed that).

Hello - recently upgraded to the iPhone 17 Pro and when I open my camera app it always goes straight to video, starts a video, and won't let me hit the red button to stop the video. I have to exit the app, restart it, and when I open the app I have to QUICKLY select "photo" in order to be able to capture an image. There are also other small issues with capturing photos.

I have already turned off the "preserve settings" rule in the camera settings and performed a hard reset on the phone. That seemed to work temporarily, but the problem persists.
