You can only edit posts, not remove them completely. The editing period ends after 15 minutes and after that time you can only simply post a correction if it is that kind of thing.
The hosts can also move a thread to a different forum, but in your case you intended to post to the developer community which is a completely different community and I doubt they can relocate a thread to a different community.
