Cant receive verification code from icloud mail app

I cant receive any mail from my mail app. I only receive the mails from apple and some subscriptions only. Why? I cant get my verification code to sign in other apps that is linked to this icloud account with this problem.

Check iCloud “Hide My Email”

If you used Hide My Email, verification messages might be going to a different generated address.

Go to:

Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Hide My Email

Check if the service you’re trying to log into is using a hidden address.
