Enable Handoff properly on BOTH devices (most common fix):

On iPhone:

Settings → General → AirPlay & Handoff

Turn ON:

  • Handoff
  • Continuity Camera (helps re-register the continuity service)
  • Transfer to HomePod (optional but resets the profile)

On Mac:

System Settings → General → AirPlay & Handoff

Turn ON:

  • Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices

Now restart BOTH devices.

Try a FaceTime call again — the Mac’s icon should appear on your iPhone’s call banner.
