How do I change folder color in Tahoe 26.1?

Get Info on a folder (Command-I) and select a tag color. Note that in Finder menu > Settings > Tags, you must have some tags in the Favorite Tags box. If there are none, drag some there.

Just after updating to Tahoe, all my desktop folders are PINK! I think they were grey before and want that back, but can't do it. Please explain.

In System Settings->Appearance, change the Theme from Pink to what you prefer:
