How do I change order of favorites in contacts in iOS 26.1

Open Favorites, tap on Edit, then put your finger on the “hamburger” menu to the right of any entry and drag it to where you want it.

iOS 26.1 has two views in the Phone app, Unified and Classic
See the pic below. If you are in the Unified View in the Phone App, follow Pic 1, and if you are in the Classic View, follow Pic 2.
You can always toggle between Unified and Classic View, which is shown in Pic 2.
I prefer the Unified View; the choice is yours.
