Issue with widget panel after upgrading to a new iPad

I recently upgraded from the 2016 iPad Pro to the 2024 iPad Pro M4. I migrated everything from the old iPad during installation. It transferred my widgets panel which I can access the same way as the old iPad (swipe right from left side of screen), but I can’t find where to change the widgets that appear and there is no edit button when I scroll to the bottom of the widgets like there is on the old iPad. The first screenshot is what appears on my new iPad when I swipe from the left. The second only appears on my lock screen and I know where to edit those.

Since I can’t edit the panel that transferred over from my old iPad, it makes me wonder if the old widget panel is interfering with the new one. If so, how can I either fix this OR edit the widgets that appear when I now swipe from the left (first screenshot)?

To add, remove or arrange your Widgets, from the Widgets view, simply touch-and-hold any empty area of the screen; the widgets will "wobble".

While the widgets are wobbling...

  • tap the "+" button at top-left of the screen to Add a new widget.
  • tap the "-" button that appears on each of the existing widgets to remove the associated widget from the view.
  • simply drag the widgets with your finger to your preferred location on the screen.
  • tap the Done button at upper-right of the screen when you're finished editing.
