iPhone 13 Pro unable to make calls, experiences blank screen
Device: iPhone 13 Pro in use since 2021
Symptoms: SIM card and eSIM replaced twice by carrier to attempt to get the phone to be able to make calls. It has had hard reboots and network resets to attempt to solve the problem. Days after the SIM is replaced and resets and reboots happen, once again the phone can't make outgoing calls. Calls fail immediately.
Additionally, after some reboots the screen is blank, my Phone favorites are blank and many icons are grayed out. The reboots are slow and I often have to reboot twice to get full functionality.
The device is now very unreliable as a phone.
I have Applecare + and bought it so I would be eligible for Express Replacement.
The online support engine said I was not eligible because of local conditions or other reasons it would not specify. What would make me ineligible for Express Replacement? I have a credit card and get next day FedEx and UPS.The issues I am having are not caused by water or my actions or handling. There is no evident external damage. It appears to be caused by an internal defect.
How can I get a functional phone quickly?
