Notes app freezes when viewing transcribed voice recordings

My Notes App keeps freezing after transcribing a voice recording. I can see that the call has been transcribed after using the "record call" function on my iPhone. When I try to read the transcript, which I can only see the first five lines or so, the app freezes, and I have to shut the app and try again to no avail. I am running the current software also. Whether it is a long 1hr 30 or 20min recording, it performs the same way. Also, the App freezes whether I am using my iphone or my MacAir.
