I don’t know if it’s been asked recently but I noticed my iphone 16 pro has a flicker/glitch effect when going into the photo gallery and once I touch on select it flickers. It happens randomly. Anyone else ? Thanks !

Yeah, a few people on the 16 line have mentioned little UI flickers like that. Seems to be an iOS bug more than anything actually wrong with your phone. It usually comes and goes with updates.
You can try force-closing Photos or rebooting, but otherwise you’re kind of just waiting for Apple to patch it. Nothing to worry about unless it starts happening system-wide.
