How to update Apple Account phone number

Apple has made it easier to manage your Apple ID. You can now change or update the phone number linked to your account directly through the iForgot website—the same place used for account recovery.

So if your trusted number has changed, or you no longer have access to the old one, simply visit the iForgot page, verify your identity, and update your Apple ID phone number—all without needing an iPhone or Mac signed in to that account.

Simply sign in to https://account.apple.com at any time to manage your account.
