How do I dismiss the notice to "Finish Setting Up Your iPhone" for Face ID?

All such reminders usually go away if you tap "Set Up Later" in settings. In my experience they don't come back.

Unless if course you try to set up Stolen Device Protection, or hidden apps.

When you choose Set Up Later during the installation, you will see the reminder in Settings to set up Face ID. All you need to do there is tap it to set up later again and now it is on you without any further reminders. Problem solved! No need to be annoyed or even speculate what Apple thinks.

I'm not so sure that Apple thinks that everyone wants Face ID, rather it's more about what Apple thinks that everyone should have.

As others have said, it's only twice

Once on setup

Once in Settings

That's it, and it has been that way for years
