Accessibility issues for older uses with iOS 26

Did Apple consider accessibility problems for older users before releasing iOS 26? The jiggly typing, liquid glass feature (that’s an upgrade?) has made using my iPhone 16 extremely hard to use. The accessibility fixes in settings don’t begin to cover the issues. Since Apple’s made it impossible to go back to the previous iOS, how about adding to settings a simple way to revert closer to the previous iOS.

There are two settings you can change to reduce the liquid glass effects:

Settings ≥ Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Reduce Transparency > ON

--------

If you have recently updated to iOS 26.1 (not to be confused with 26.0.1)

there is additional relief available, but it is also not obvious:

Settings > Display & Brightness > Liquid Glass.

Here, you'll find two options: Clear and Tinted.

'Tinted' further reduces the translucency of the glass effect, making it not very glass-like any more.
