Ipad Pro split screen problem

Hello,

I have an Ipad Pro 2025 and its great, however im having trouble editing videos and watching youtube on the same screen. I like to split the screen,have youtube up top and final cut below. Problem is when i touch anything in final cut it pauses youtube. This doesnt happen when i draw in procreate,i can touch anything and my videos can continue playing.

Any ideas how i can fix this?
