Search for songs in Apple Music playlists on iPhone

Hello. I organize my music on my Apple devices with long playlists (+1000 songs). On my iPhone it’s impossible to locate a song on any given playlist and listen on from there, given the fact that the Search option works only for the Library and not for a single playlist, and that the songs are not numbered as they are on my Mac Mini or as they used to be on my various iPods. I have to manually scroll the playlist until I reach the desired song, which is really annoying. Please help. Thank you.
