Transferring iTunes Library to a New Computer, Using SycToy [No longer Available]

I was previously advised to back up and/or transfer my iTunes library [playlists and all...] using SyncToy. Now I find that SyncToy is no longer available. I have my whole library on a stand-alone hard drive, using SyncToy. What can you suggest?

SyncToy being discontinued does NOT affect your ability to restore or migrate your entire iTunes library.

To transfer your library:

  1. Install iTunes
  2. Copy your entire iTunes folder from your external drive to your new PC
  3. Hold SHIFT while opening iTunes
  4. Select iTunes Library.itl
  5. Everything (songs + playlists + metadata) is restored perfectly

Or you can run iTunes directly from the external drive without copying anything.
