Apple TV not playing purchased movies and TV shows

Why is my Apple TV not working to play my already purchased movies/tv shows. From 9years ago . I just ended my free subscription and now I can play any of my movies.?!

I have been billed every month for Apple TV yet I am not able to watch any movies! It keeps telling me I have to subscribe which I already have!! My new year is coming up this month! So why am I not able to watch programs or movies?? I have been paying for appleTV every month for a year. My subscription renews this month. Yet when I go to watch a program or movies over the past three months it tells me I have to subscribe. What is going on?

Unable to access certain content on Apple TV+ On our billing our Subscription says Apple TV+ I believe it is 9.99 a month. But when we click on Apple TV in our Apps on our Sony OLED 1 year old, we are seeing movies, series, etc. But if if click on something we want to watch is sometimes says we need Apple TV+. Can’t watch movies with Apple TV+ subscription I purchased an Apple TV+ subscription and neither of my smart tv’s will allow me to watch any movies, none of them have the option of watching, only option is “how to watch” and “purchase” most of the movies on there are free on Tubi, I don’t understand why I can’t watch any movie, I followed all the trouble shooting advice, have the latest updated version of the app, shame on you apple! I shouldn’t have to pay for the subscription just to pay for movies that are free elsewhere. I cancelled my subscription and won’t be getting it again

What device is this on? An Apple TV box? Not playing, how? The movie is there and you press play and nothing happens? Or the movies are missing? Have you tried signing out and signing back in?
