How to force download DRM free version of a song I purchased on itunes on apple music?

How to download DRM free version of a song I purchased on itunes on apple music? Bought the album on itunes a few months ago, now I want to download the DRM free files. I went into itunes -> purchased in Apple Music, but it keeps downloading the version with DRM. Maybe it's because I added the apple music version to my library? I don't want to remove those because they're in like 3 different playlists and having to fix them is a huge pain. Is there no way to download what I paid for without the trouble?
