Is my Apple Magic Mouse original? Serial number shows 18 characters & Apple coverage doesn’t recognize it.

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an Apple Magic Mouse from Flipkart, and I’m trying to verify if it’s original.

The serial number printed on the bottom of the mouse is:

CC***********555

(This is an 18-character code.)

When I enter this on Apple’s Check Coverage website, it doesn’t recognize the product.

I also noticed most Apple accessories have 12-character serial numbers, so I’m confused.

Can anyone confirm:

1. Do genuine Magic Mouse models ever have 17- or 18-character serial numbers?
2. Should this serial show up in Apple Check Coverage?
3. Does this format match a real Apple serial number?
4. Is there another way to validate authenticity?
5. Does anyone else have a Flipkart Magic Mouse with a similar serial format?
