Keyboard shortcuts using the Globe key

The default keyboard shortcuts for Halves and Quarters include the Globe key.

I want to assign a custom keyboard shortcut that includes the Globe key, but pressing a Globe key combination does not register. So if I press Command-Globe-T then it only registers Command-T.

How do I create shortcuts that include the Globe key, or even re-enter the original shortcuts after I've changed them, without restoring everything using restore?

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 26.2

AFAICT, you cannot create new shortcuts using the Globe/fn key.

You can restore a default shortcut simply be deleting the customized one that you created.

By Globe key you mean the Fn key, right? Do you have this System setting set to not use the Fn keys for using the F keys?

I don't use the built-in keyboard shortcuts but use a macro app called Keyboard Maestro. You can create a single or two keystroke combination to do most anything: open applications/files, change settings in apps, add prepared paragraphs of text to a post or file, etc.
