How to revert to a previous software version on iPhone?
I really can’t handle the latest software update to 26.1. Can I go back?

No you cannot. There has never been a supported way to downgrade any iOS version. That is also true for Android phones where those that had tried often times ended up with a bricked phone. For that reason, Google does not support it either with their Android OS.

You'll have to adjust because there is NO way to go back. Downgrading has never been supported. EVER.
would like to back to the Version before I updated
You have told us what you would like. But, the answer is that what you would like is not possible.
Apple has never supported downgrading the iOS version, so this is not possible.

How do you suggest adapting to my messages refusing to send, messages coming to me in waves very late, lagging issues and not being able to open my keyboard on some websites. I mean I can't even ask a question on here because it opens and closes immediately I have a recording but I'm not uploading to YouTube to link it
If messages won't send or are received late that's an issue you take to your carrier. Your carrier is responsible for messaging.
Did you do a Forced Restart after you updated your iPhone? I do this after EVERY iOS update --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
You don't. Please take a moment to actually READ the information already provided before you post.
I'm just here waiting for a way to remove it. My phones been laggy, glitching out, alarms not going off and messages not sending when I receive messages they come in in waves I want to go back cuz this is unusable I'm about to go to my iPhone 5 it lagged less than my 15 pro with this update.

Rid of "System Data" (Formerly Called "Other"):
System Data is caches -- all of which gather overtime. They are created for apps so that they have a more ease use and quicker operability. Clearing them, you would fix a few bugs. See my User Tip: How to Clear "System Data" in your iPhone's Storage: - User Tip
