Canon Pixma Pro 100 - can no longer print using wifi

I lost the ability to print via wifi using my Canon Pixma Pro 100 photo printer, and am finding it nearly impossible to get support from Canon. I'm using a 2015 Macbook Pro with OS Mojave 10.14.6. When I use the Canon printer setup tool, it doesn't give me the choice of the Pixma Pro 100, only the 200 and up, when makes me assume there is no longer a way to connect my Pro 100. I'd love to know if I am wrong.

The Pixma Pro 100 is supported by Apple's built-in AirPrint on Mojave. It should support both wired or wi-fi network connections to this device. AirPrint does not require the installation of any Canon software or drivers.

I would remove this device from the System Preferences > Printers & Scanners panel, and then re-add it. On that default Add panel, you should see the Pro 100 detected by Bonjour. When you select that entry, the Use: selector should automatically configure it to use AirPrint, though whether it says AirPrint or Pixma Pro 100 should be irrelevant. Click Add and determine if you can print wirelessly now.

Here is an animation of that Printers Add panel though for my Samsung laser printer using AirPrint…
