What do you mean that the "display screen is too large?" The screen on your iPhone is hardware. It is a fixed size. So, I assume you mean something else. Please give some details.
Also, try going to Settings>Display & Brightness>Display Zoom and setting it to Default. Also, try Settings>Display & Brightness>Text Size and make the text smaller.
