iPad apps not working after iOS 26.2 update
iPad. Ios26.2. I just updated to ios 26.2. Now many, many iPad apps struggle or otherwise fail to work. Is there a fix?

If your iPad is not operating as expected, try a forced-restart - as this will often clear an isolated or post-update software issue:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
If the problem persists after performing the restart, it may be necessary to reset your iPad settings. While this reset will not cause any loss of data, as a precaution, it is always wise to ensure that you have a current iCloud or iTunes backup before performing the reset:

When you are happy to proceed, you can perform the reset from iPad settings:
Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset All Settings
If the problem still doesn’t clear, the next step is to reset the iPad to factory settings:

Otherwise, you would be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page. Alternatively and perhaps easier, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

I’m having issues with my photos. The horizontal and vertical adjustment buttons are gone. After restarting and resetting the apps, they are still not there. I am unable to connect with Support. I keep timing out. This has been going on for a couple of hours this morning now I’m very frustrated.

Well, I figured something out quite by accident. In the Photos app, when you go to edit, under the cropping icon, press your finger slightly on the rotation button, not the slider, pull slightly to the left, and you’ll see the perspective buttons. They are now in a horizontal row hidden underneath the slider adjustment.

And what troubleshooting steps have you done?
It didn’t work
I’m having the same problem I’ve tried stopping and starting the app. I’ve tried waiting several seconds before selecting the editing buttons and I’ve tried begging. Nothing works.
Here is the fix
Ahhh! That helps, not sure I like them being hidden, and that no one at Apple support knew that, but at least that’s a solution, many thanks for sharing :D
You’re very welcome
Look at my screenshot on this thread. There’s your answer.
