How do I change my Hide My Email account's email without receiving a verification code?

After loggin into an account with hide my email. I want to change it into my normal email but when i try to get a verificationcode from the platfrom to change my email it does not show up on my email. How can i fix this without having to delete my account?

In the System Settings (on any device), under iCloud, look for Hide My Email. Search for the site with the account you want to edit. If you find it, click on it and make sure the toggle activates message forwarding to your main email address.

In the worst case, if the entry is missing it looks like you can recreate it on the spot with the + (I have not tested that).
