iPhone 15 Plus: AirPlay music no sound after iOS 26.2 update

Today, I encountered AirPlay music playing issues after updating to iOS 26.2 for my IPhone 15plus. Before that, the music would stop playing in each song occasionally, but now, it would be no sound transferring to the BOSE soundbar (900&600) every sencond song. To my surprise, I can notice the song is still playing both on the iphone and the soundbar from display, but no sound comes out. Yet if i switch to bluetooth, that won't happen again. So I suspect the airplay has some issues after updating to ios26.2. Hope you guys solve it and release new update as soon as possible. That helps everyone who loves playing music by aiplay. Thank you!

I am experiencing exactly the same issue with my iPhone 15 Pro Max since updating to 26.2. Prior to the upgrade it was working fine using AirPlay to stream to my HomePods. My iPad Pro is still running 26.1 and is not suffering from this issue so it is definitely related to the 26.2 upgrade. Very disappointing from Apple.

It's not always the iOS update's fault! Many things can cause phone problems. If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

I checked the list. BOSE soundbar 600&900 are indeed available to play with airplay. I “suspect” the playing issue is related to the iOS update based on two reasons. One, it never happens before iOS 26, two, my iPhone 15 plus could play music normally via Bluetooth! My device is not Jalibroken. I just play the music as usual, nothing is changed on the soundbar nor on the WiFi router, so why does this happen?
