13Pro still has car bluetooth issues on 18.7.1. It's slightly better, I can now toggle bluetooth off and back on and it will connect every time, vs before even that wouldn't work. However, it's still not working as it should before the 18.2 or so update that broke it. (stock Prius 2019). If bluetooth module was bad it shouldn't work at all. If Prius bluetooth was bad it shouldn't pick up after the phone toggle. It doesn't make sense.
If CarPlay doesn't detect your iPhone, make sure CarPlay isn't restricted. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. If Content & Privacy Restrictions are turned on, tap Allowed Apps and make sure CarPlay is enabled. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, tap your car, and then tap Forget This Car.
