Can’t enter my mac password

My mac somehow doesn’t allow me to login. Like I type my password and most of the time it won’t allow me to login and i’m very sure I typed my password correctly. I tried to restart the mac to reset the password but I didn’t work too, somehow it didn’t ask me if I want to reset the password. It takes me like 5 minutes just to login. It has been like this for like 2 days now.
