Is there a way to export or get a full transcript of an iMessages conversation on iPhone or Mac without having to copy each message one by one and then share?
I'm looking for a simpler method maybe a built in export, print to PDF, or a tool that can do it.

There is no built-in export or method for this either on an iPhone or Mac.
There are several 3rd-party apps that claim to be ablate do this though.
iMazing is one such option that's recommended around here.

I can second Phil0124's recommendation of iMazing. It's not cheap, but it does a very good job archiving messages to either text or PDF. If this is something that's important to you, I recommend spending the money.
Another one I know of is TouchCopy.
