Impossible to update the purchase date
Hello everyone! The problem is relevant for some Russian users: bought macbook, added to his account, activated, but when trying to check the serial number and the right to service the Apple system reports that the date of purchase failed to check. Support did not help any English-speaking (did not understand the check of parallel importer), nor Russian (they have limited rights to support). I don't understand logic - the device is activated, it in my account, lit up in the system for the first time. So why it automatically does not automatically stop the activation date as the date of purchase, even if I am in Russia. Or at least the date of sale of the goods in the country in which it was implemented for the first time. I'll be good for any help or advice. I do not have to contact support and use the warranty - I am fully satisfied with the device, but the fact that the lack of right to support me as a permanent user of Apple technology discourages and frustrates.
