Mail Issue after Software update 26.2

Updated to 26.2 software, now cannot access inbox in mail, incoming spam folder mail works just fine from same server. Deleted app and reset, works fine briefly and has the same issue. Error message states "Cannot get Mail. The mail server imap.earthlink.net is not responding". The account info is correct in mail settings. This started only after the software update last week. Any thoughts?

Thank you for your reply. It's good to know that I'm not the only one with this issue. The level 2 Earthlink consultatant found nothing wrong on their end and I can access my inbox mail using the Earthlink mail app without an issue. I still have to delete my mail account on my phone and add it back to gain access to the inbox. I never have an issue getting mail in the spam folder which leads me to believe the issue is root caused in the 26.2 update. Apple tells me it's not their problem, which is consistant with the level of interest and service I always receive from Apple. Whether it's on line or in person after I go to the trouble of making an appointment at the "genius bar", driving all the way to the store to make sure I'm on time, only to have them look down their nose at me like I'm an imbecile. The problem remains, so I just us the app and look forward to the next software update to see if it's resolved. Bottom line; Apple doesn't care nor will they try and resove issue.

Why do i need to confirm in 2 steps when I Block a contact ?
and I miss the select button when moving my blocked contacts to the spam og deleted folder i mail. You made it Worse instead of improving the mail app

Because people thought they were blocking Spam emails when they were doing it. The purpose of blocking a person is to block a known contact that you need to take a break from communicating with. Spammers spoof the email addresses so you are not likely ever to receive another email from that same address. Users ended up with hundreds (if not thousands) of useless blocked contacts, just taking up storage space and they also sync to iCloud that will affect your storage limits.

With the 2 steps, now it is a little more clear you are blocking a known person you have in your Contacts.

You'll need to reach out to earthlink support or look at their help site/forum since their server is not responding, this has nothing do with ios 26.2.
