MacMail not completely displaying from time to time

MacMail email not displaying properly from time to time:

My MacBook Air is running a 1.6 GHz processor and currently is using Sonoma 14.8.3.

From time to time, mail is not properly displayed in MacMail. For example, an email from Politico Playbook PM received at 14:06 today only showed the title and an empty email attachment. The email downloaded completely on my iPhone and on Outlook for Mac. The Politico Playbook PM emails from the previous two days showed the full text for both emails. The behavior is not limited to the Politico Playbook PM emails. I don't know what underlies the issue, but this it has to be one with MacMail. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
