Do you have this icon for call forwarding in your status bar. If so, review the documentation to turn it off.

If not, contact your carrier as Call Forwarding can be set on your cellular service where it is not being done by any setting on your phone.

Make sure to explain to your carrier EXACTLY what you’re trying to deactivate.

For instance “Going to Voice Mail” is also technically a couple of different types of Call Forwarding which you probably do NOT mean to disable.

Before you contact your Carrier, try USSD Codes:

These codes are GSM/3GPP MMI standard codes, so they are widely supported across most countries, carriers, and Android/iPhone devices that use GSM/LTE/VoLTE networks.

Dial these Codes using your Phone Dial Pad.

• ##002# – Cancels all call forwarding
• ##21# – Cancels unconditional forwarding
• ##67# / ##61# / ##62# – Cancel forwarding for busy / no-answer / unreachable

These are part of the GSM specification, not phone-brand tricks. 

iPhone: Apple forwards these codes directly to the carrier — success depends entirely on the carrier

Rule of thumb

• If your carrier supports network-based call forwarding → these USSD will work
• If forwarding is app-based or account-based → use carrier settings or customer care

Correct, and also call forwarding is set up by the carrier when they participate in some spam tagging/blocking services. Removing that may have a negative effect.

It can vary widely by carrier.
