How to recover lost Tab Groups in Safari on iPad?

Hello, in safari I use tab groups intenisively. Unfortunately all my tab groups have disappeared on my ipad. I still have them on my iphone, but icloud doesn’t seem to synchronise them. How can i get my tab groups back on my ipad?
