why cant i share screen only one app rather than my entire screen?
when i try to record on obs or share screen on discord, it only lets me record my entire screen rather than just sharing/recording one app

macOS Sequoia changed how window / app-only screen capture works.
If an app (OBS, Discord, etc.) hasn’t fully updated to Apple’s new ScreenCaptureKit rules, macOS will only allow full-screen capture.
That’s why you’re stuck with “entire screen only.”
OBS must use Window Capture, not Display Capture
A separate desktop Space is the most reliable workaround
