Can't Upgrade to Tahoe on Mac mini 2024 with M4 Chip.

I can't upgrade to Tahoe. I am running a Mac Mini 2024 with M4 Chip that I purchased 13 months ago. Currently running Sequoia 15.7.4 and I am unable to update to Tahoe. Software Update is saying "Your Mac is up to date."

Mac mini, macOS 15.7

Try to use the Terminal application (in the Applications > Utilities folder) to upgrade to macOS Tahoe. Please see the section "Use Terminal" in this document: How to download and install macOS - Apple Support.

In your case, the command to execute to download the upgrade should be:

softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 26.2

When Terminal says that the install finished successfully, the download is complete. Open the Applications folder and double-click the macOS installer, named Install [Version Name], then follow the onscreen installation instructions.
