Randomly setting Wallpaper background photos from a Smart Album in Photos.app?
I'd like macOS Tahoe to randomly select a photo from my Photos library that is a favorite and has the tag "desktop" to make my wallpaper background, and then change that selection once a day.
I was able to do this years ago in an old macOS version. On macOS Tahoe, I can choose a photo set per these instructions, but the only "photo sets" that appear are system generated ones or manual albums—there are no smart albums listed. (There's also some horrendous UI in both the drop down—forcing me to navigate through an unsorted and unorganized list of entries from the "People & Pets" section, or a seemingly random list of photo albums.) Any advice?
My hunch I that the code to select photos from the Photo Library hasn't seen much of an update in years, and if someone at Apple would pay a bit of attention to it, a remedy here would make Photos access much easier in many cases.
